Eostrefeld

This work was developed and presented as a part of ASPHODEL, an evening of site-specific work co-produced by Sawyer Smith and Sophie Teachout

Poster Design by Annie Bingham

The South Lawn is a rectangle. Its four sides constitute four planes, four stages, four landscapes, four worlds, four stories as one entity. In this site-specific work, Eostrefeld’s audience was invited to move within the bounds of the grassy rectangle as they witnessed the performance breathe life into each plane. Invoking ancient legends and conjuring new ones, Eostrefeld seeks to give this institutional space room to be a place.
